EPS-TIG: Frontiers in Measurement Techniques

The EPS-TIG event is a multi-day, hands-on workshop in Leiden that brings together bachelor and master students in Physics and Astrophysics from across Europe. Over four days, particpants explore how cutting-edge measurement technologies are developed, how they enable science, and how innovations move between academia en industry.

This year’s theme, “Frontiers of Measurement Techniques”, highlights the measurement driven nature of modern physics: from quantum sensing and ultra-sensitive detection to high-performance instrumentation and novel experimental approaches. The central aim is to bridge the gap between industrial innovation and academic research, showing participants how real-world engineering constraints and scientific curiosity jointly shape the next generation of experiments.

More details on the final programme, speakers, company visits, participation/registration, and logistical information will be published on this page as they are confirmed.
