DESCRIPTION:Are you wondering what research in physics is really like? What does a PhD student’s life look like? Which master’s specialization should you choose?  \nCome and chat with PhD students from UCLouvain around six thematic tables: \n\nMathematical Physics\nClimatology\nParticle Physics (theoretical & experimental)\nAtomic & Optical Physics\nGravitational Waves & Instrumentation\n\nThe concept? You spend 20 minutes at each table to learn more about the topics that interest you\, and to ask your questions about PhD life (conferences abroad\, teaching\, daily routine\, challenges of the PhD\, etc.)\, then you go to the next table. \nWhen? Tuesday\, February 24\, 6:30–9:30 p.m.\nWhere? Cyclotron 02 & 03 \nNo registration is required\, and free snacks and drinks will be provided \nWhether you are an undergraduate (especially third-year students with the choice of a master’s coming up) or a master’s student\, this is the perfect time to demystify research and find out which topic might suit you. \nWe’re looking forward to seeing you there!
