DESCRIPTION:Belgian-Dutch nuclear summer school – your gateway to a career in nuclear\nThe nuclear landscape in Belgium and the Netherlands is evolving\, creating a growing demand for competent professionals who can safely manage nuclear applications and drive research in optimization and innovation. To address this need\, both countries are collaborating to establish joint initiatives that ensures a well-equipped workforce for the future. \nAs part of this effort\, this BeNe Summer School connects future professionals with experts in the field\, providing essential knowledge on nuclear sciences\, industry applications\, advanced study opportunities\, and career prospects. \nIt also fosters direct engagement with experienced professionals\, offering insights into nuclear operations. \nThe program is limited to 40 participants\, ensuring an interactive and immersive experience. \nRegistration is free of charge—all costs related to lectures\, logistics\, accommodation\, and meals will be covered by the organizers and sponsors. \nBefore being able to register\, candidates are required to submit \n\na short CV detailing their educational background\na motivation letter explaining their interest in the program\n\nby e-mail to academy@sckcen.be before the deadline of June 3\, 2025. \nAn Evaluation and Selection Committee will decide who will finally be allowed to participate to the School and formally register via the dedicated SCK CEN website and complete their personal data in order to gain access to the nuclear facilities. \nAll selected participants will be requested to comply with the schedule and deadlines below: \n\nJune 3\, 2025 – Deadline for submission of the candidate’s application\nJune 11\, 2025 – Deadline for the selection of applications by the selection committee\nJune 18\, 2025 – Inform the applicants about the decision of selection committee (the latest)\nJune 25\, 2025 – Deadline registration for selected participants
